Weather: AEMET

Climate figures are the Valores climatológicos normales of the Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET) for the standard period 1981–2010, read from its website on November 2, 2026. We read 85 stations. For each month: average temperature (T), average of daily highs (TM), average of daily lows (Tm), rainfall (R), relative humidity (H), days with 1 mm or more of rain (DR), snow, storm, fog and frost days, clear days and hours of sun (I). Where AEMET shows a dash, we show n/a.

  • AEMET's legal notice allows reuse of its information, commercial or not, with attribution; we cite AEMET as the source on every weather page and do not alter the figures.
  • These are averages over thirty years, not forecasts. One station stands for a place: the station name is on each page (many are airports).
  • Sun per day is the monthly hours divided by the number of days in the month (February 28.25). Fahrenheit is converted from the Celsius figure.

Trains: Renfe

Train data is Renfe Operadora's open GTFS file Horarios de alta velocidad, larga distancia y media distancia, licence Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, downloaded November 2, 2026 from data.renfe.com. The file covers services valid from November 2026.

  • We list long-distance and high-speed types (AVE, AVLO, AVE INT, ALVIA, Euromed, Intercity, Avant and Trencelta) between 36 main stations.
  • A route is shown when it has at least 6 direct trains on the example day, Wednesday 11 November 2026. Journey time is arrival minus departure at the two stations.
  • The file does not include other operators, commuter trains, or trains that need a change, and it shows no prices. It is not a live departure board.

Holidays: BOE

Holidays come from the Dirección General de Trabajo resolutions published in the Boletín Oficial del Estado: BOE-A-2025-21667 (2026) and BOE-A-2026-21254 (2027). Each table lists, by region, the national holidays and the regional ones. English names are ours. Local holidays (up to two per municipality) are set by each town and are not included.
